1. I think the purpose that he wrote this story was because I think it can relate to people's lives in real life and not only in a story that people write down. 2. I think the name faith goes with it because she shows trust and faith towards Goodman brown? 3. I think the symbol of pink ribbons mean happy and excitement? 4. I think somethings were evil because in the passage they mentioned the devil 5. My opinion is that the old man was the devil because he met most of his family 6. The staff represents the devil because he acts like a normal person around everyone else  7. I think Goodman brown would still be the same person and would believe in everyone else

I compare both story to the monkeys paw because both show deep emotions and tell us the money cannt buy happiness all storys iv read had to do with money

After finished reading the poem " Richard Cory" I realized that people can believe a rich man can be happy with money and have everything a person wants but doesn't know how that person feels inside. Also money cant buy happiness,This poem is quite deep. Most people would like to be like Richard because he always seems happy but once I found out he committed suicide I wonder why? He has everything a man wants so why would he commit suicide?
